Factal was created by the founders of BreakingNews.com, a free service that shut down in 2016
Factal’s free offering for NGOs includes all elements of the Factal platform. To be eligible for free access through this program, a non-governmental organization’s primary purpose must be disaster response, humanitarian aid or human rights services for people at risk.
